From the booking process to boarding my final flight home, there was not one moment of this experience that was not lovely beyond my wildest imagination. 

I have very little travel experience in general, much less on my own AND out of the country. Needless to say, there was a lot of unknowns and fear based conditioning kind of swirling around my head … all for no reason! There was not one moment where I did not feel completely and utterly safe. The moment I landed in Egypt and met Londa face-to-face I knew that the rest of my week would be an absolute joy. 

As a mother of two younger children, one of them on the autism spectrum, I am used to being quite a frazzled and overstimulated mess on any trip as I work to cater for everyone else and keep things in alignment … they’re almost aren’t words to express what a blissful experience it was to be able to receive the gift a full presence in a trip— knowing that every detail of it was handpicked for me and carefully curated in a way that allowed me to fully bask in every moment. From the accommodations, to food and travel, there was not one piece of the trip that I ever need worry about… all I had to do was show up! She even walked us all through the visa process in a zoom call, truly making even the most unknown daunting pieces of such a large trip a breeze.

The icing on the cake was the incredible group of women that I had the opportunity to meet and get to know on the trip. I have no idea how she did it, but Londa accomplish the seemingly impossible, and absolutely phenomenal, job of curating a group of beautifully aligned souls for our Egypt trip. It was the wildest and most liberating experience to be able to sit next to any of the women during any given meal and not worry about the conversation…. It just flowed in abundance. This coming from the biggest introvert in the world! The connections I made through Manifested Adventures are lifelong, truly deep and have been most profoundly changing in ways that I’m still trying to wrap my head around and will be eternally grateful for. I think of my Egypt sisters every day and sometimes I have to pinch myself and remind myself that it really happened and was not just a beautiful dream. 

Do I even have room to rant about the excursions? Camel riding, fossil hunting in the desert, dune surfing, swimming in the Mediterranean ocean— it’s an impossible task not only trying to pick a favorite but also trying to share details on my trip with anyone and do it justice. Words just aren’t enough to express what a living dream it was. 

I will happily follow Londa and her astonishing team wherever she takes me next. I have implicit trust in her seemingly innate ability share the pieces of the world that she is so passionate about with us. Thank you, Londa! You have blessed my life in ways that I will never be able to thank you for and I cannot wait to continue following you around the globe! See you in Peru!"

One of the most powerful moments was the Isis activation, an experience led by individuals handpicked by Manifested Adventures to deepen our understanding and connection to the energy of the land. Every detail was intentional, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the culture while creating meaningful bonds with like-minded women. We shared laughter, tears, and moments of awe that I’ll cherish forever. To this day, I remain connected with the remarkable ladies from the trip, a testament to the magic of the experiences Manifested Adventures brings to life.

This journey reminded me of the power of gratitude, sisterhood, and self-discovery. Egypt changed me in ways I could never have imagined, and I am forever grateful to Londa and Manifested Adventures for orchestrating this unforgettable chapter of my life.
